How to Hard Refreshed in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge
Does Love the Geek look out of sorts following a site update? If clicking that “refresh” arrow doesn’t give any help then Hard Refresh may be needed. This will allow you to clear the cache in your browser for a specific page, forcing it to load the most recent version of that page. New scripts, styles, or features could be included.
Hard Refresh in Firefox
- Windows users: hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on your keyboard.
- Mac users: hold down Cmd and Shift and then press R on your keyboard
Hard Refresh in Microsoft Edge (Windows)
- Hold down Ctrl and then press F5 on your keyboard
Hard Refresh in Safari (Mac)
- Go to Safari Empty Cache, or hit Opt + Cmd + E
- To refresh, click the refresh button on the address bar or press Cmd + R
